Can't stuff still be moved out of VN? I think that I evacuated the zombie preparedness thread after the lock.

Yuri wasn't the reason Various Nonsense shut down.

It was part of the reason.

It was part of the reason.
Still a reason.  Without it, we may have just gotten through without losing VN.
I told you guys, yuri would get things locked, but no . . . no one listened.

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.

I enjoyed various nonsense. It was an outlet for randomness which is frowned upon on hte GD board. I've stopped myself on many accounts from posting rubbish here cause i felt like it. Thats what various nonsense was for, a creative waste bin.

No, people were just getting bored with it because it was getting flooded with yuri and lolcats and political wars were breaking out over every little thing.

Somewhere deep under a glacier covered in the ruins of a once-glorious civilization, a mining operation is taking place. The miners were all cheap laborers, dieing in the cold. Behind them and their masters stood a man in heavy coats, looking over the excavation site. Before him lay the remains of a giant hulk of steel and aluminum. A smile crept over his face. He would soon recover the greatest machine ever built: A great fortress that could move.

A slavemaster, slipping over the soggy slush towards the coated man, franticly relayed a message from a deeper excavation.

"Lord Duke! W-we have found something!"
Duke turned to this man with a look of puzzlement. There was nothing of value left of the Various Nonsense other than the Battle Fortress. There was nothing so urgent that the Fortress could not fix. e nodded, and the slavemaster continued.
"Deep in the prospecting tunnels! We released something! Something horrible!"

Then screams of torment echoed from these shafts. Duke, annoyed, motioned for the party to get into the fortress.
"Alright, we planned for something like this. Into the fortress! We are raising this thing now!"
Just before they sealed themselves into what could possibly be their tomb, one of the miners caught a glimpse of the horrors they had let loose. He said they were covered with blood, and were in the process of pleasing eachother. Duke had hoped they would remained sealed for all time. He released Yuri and CIB.

Buck up friendo, we're all on the level here.
I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.
