I was on my way to my old fortress and decided to go on an elf crusade as there was a whole civ of them between me and my destination, my only companion was a soap maker with a steel knife. First house I entered turned out to hold both the Druid and Princess of the elves, I kill them and all the other dwellers and chopped of the princess head and took it as a trophy, when I come out it turns out my aide had taken care of the children and there were teeth strewn all about the ground.

I modded in a race that resembles blue goblins with the same ethics as dwarves aside for killing in self defence ,and gain combat skills 2% faster . Though this isnt EXACTLY what happened , it was true on the FB dying (The corpse isn't visible as it dodged into lava) and that my marksman shot my leg off.

Continuation on the earlier adventure: I was slaughtering my way through another elven village and was just about to enter another house, but to my surprise there were no elves there only a wounded fat female dwarven trader surrounded by corpses, there's also a donkey next to her loaded with craftdwarfship, apparently she didn't hear about the war going on and went to trade anyway. She put up a hell of a fight and protected her goods to the last so to honour her valour I picked up the goods and invited her to my party telling her I'd escort her to the next friendly village to sell her goods, meanwhile she's killing elves with her trusty meat cleaver together with us.


Edit: Went into a human town, the market had elven traders, they attack me, poof, the whole human nation is hostile with me...god damn elves.

I have an idea, but im TERRIBLE at explaining things.

So i heard that thers no sex in this game, only spores. Now what if, instead of spores, the females get pregnant via something similar to my picture below?

I haven't seen a BSoD in.... I don't even know how long.

The only time I've witnessed a BSOD, I was 7 or 8 and caused something horrible to happen to my father's computer...

But I know how you feel to a degree: my game crashes constantly on adventure mode. 100% guarantee of crashing within 10 minutes of starting/continuing an adventure. Totally unplayable.

What? Who? Huh?

a) what mods do you have installed?
b) which version of DF do you have?
c) what OS do you run?
d) where did you download DF?

I've been playing adventure mode a whole lots since .25, and have had zero crashes from normal gameplay even from 4-hour-long games. The general consensus is adventure mode is pretty crash-stable right now outside of messing with the game or modding.
