Am I the olny one who never seem to have the the achievements load properly and usually ends up with a third of them appearing?

You're not the only one, to fix this I turn my profile to only show 5 posts at a time while viewing this thread.

It's a bit tedious to keep switching the post count, but I do find these achievements to be amusing.

I had that problem in the adventure mode achievement thread, but it hasn't bothered me here.

Thanks, that does work. Also, what's this adventure mode achievements thread I've heard about? I can't seem to find it in the adventure mode forum.
