That's it: the official B12 Survival Server should be 'Deep,' 'Floating' Island style on a Hell map.... :O

 When it come out, anyway.

 And more than likely it'll be in creative mode, so we won't have health restricting us from jumping onto lower islands. Then we just make staircases and we shall be connected.

Anyways, it'd solve Tunneling in CTF game modes, if they come out

Yea, I know some people seem to *need* () the ability to fly, but I think an official DWARF FORTRESS server would not have that option...

Just throwing that out there: it's a lot more impressive to actually 'raise up' without magical abilities.

 But yeah, this is the Bay 12 Games server. We can do whatever the hell we want. If we made a dwarf fortress server then hacks would have to be removed, as dwarves cannot fly in vanilla.

 And don't take me as too hostile. I tend to use strong language to show emphasis and not necessarily hostility.

 Just know that as it stands we are in sandbox flatgrass mode. If we start a dwarf fortress server then we will be sure to keep it nice and vanilla.

I was talking about a Survival Mode server once it's in multi.

 Oh yes. Survival Mode needs to be hacks free. In creative it just removes time. In survival it allows you to survive situations you normally would not. This I do not approve of.

I prefer doing my work without hacks. it means I actually did some work.
Unluckily soon I'll have to work on a thing which will be very hard without flying... but I'll work on it anyway.

Please don't get into this shitty little "real minecrafters dun use hax lololol" debate.
Regardless of hax-usage, everyone builds stuff, so what's the problem?
I myself use the WoM client for it's FPS boosting benefits, and I use hacks to help administrate/check on suspected griefers, such as hovering above them.
