I think its one of those things where you vote for the server on a certain page, and you get a prize or something for it.
The worst kind of servers locks certain items away from you, unless you vote.. I think?
Its basically pay to win, you just vote instead of paying.

Although the server Greatorder was in would probably be the
"vote for us, and get the good stuff faster than everyone else" kind of server.

Sounds toxic and easily avoided tbh.

I wouldn't mind hosting a new server but every time I do it's abandoned within a week or two because we have the attention span of a gnat :P

If it's a vanilla 1.11 server, I'd build an Llama ranch. I'd even build one on a modded server.
Too bad there are no Llamas in earlier versions.

You don't need it, I believe it's client side. Just lets me move around and swing the tools in VR. You don't really realize how huge the blocks are in minecraft until you do it once.

If I'm joining a pre 1.11 sever, I won't be sure what sort of project I'll be doing.
Depends on the modpack though.
Also, personally.. I'm not a big fan of tech-heavy mods (IC2 and the likes). Or complicated ones either.
