Yeah I've been looking at it for a while as well as a few others but was waiting on Thaumcraft2.

So apparently mobs have ALL the drops now. In 20 minutes I've gotten 7 iron ingots, an iron sword and a bow enchanted with Power 1

Yeah, I found out about that when I found an Iron Shovel/Spade in my inventory, something I never craft due to the relative rarity of iron compared to stone, and confirmed it when I saw a bow drop from a skeleton.

Well that certainly makes mob grinders more effective...

You need to kill the enemies manually to get the extra drops. But considering zombies drop iron swords, that's not a horrible prospect.

Damn. My mob grinder uses a long drop to kill. I wonder if things killed via thaumcraft2's runes count as player killed.

Spent some time customizing the Eldpack texturepack (they're my new favorite). Right now, I'm trying out giving each wood a unique texture in addition to color, for fancy floors and such.

Looks great, Soli. I would request for it, but I have a ton of mods which have new generic-minecraft-type textures for their art, and it would be jarring to mesh low-quality textures with high-qualities.

I may have misunderstood you, but these are 16x textures, same as Minecraft default. Behold the power of people who are decent at pixel art.
