I do the thaumium crucibles send stuff back that they don't use? I'd make a an excess flow pipe trailing off to an auto crafting table.

No, the stuff just sits in the crucible until it is melted down I believe. You could easily do an overflow pipe though. Redpower tubes only deliver items to valid destinations so you could feed everything to a chest first as a buffer and have another tube leading off to a crafting table or compressor. As soon as the chest is full the tubes would route the snowballs to the next closest destination which would be the compressor so all overflow would go there. You'd just have to play with it a bit to balance it out.

How do I extract the snow blocks from the automatic crafting table? It's been ages since I used buildcraft, and even then I didn't use it much.

Do I need a wooden pipe? and which side do I attach it to?

Attach a wooden pipe to the side and power it with an engine. I usually use a redstone engine for item extraction because they're nice and low maintenance. Power the engine with a constant (not pulsing) redstone signal and it will pull items out if there is enough to craft at least one item.

If you want to use an automated table to craft an item which has a non-stacking ingredient like iron pickaxe or something you can put a chest adjacent to the table and put the nonstacking items in there and it will pull them as needed.

Does it matter which side I attach the pipe to?

For most machines, top = input, bottom = fuel and side = output but with the auto-crafting table I believe any side works as input/output. You'll have to do some testing to make sure. I'm at work right now, can't really try it out

Recently I've been having problems logging in. So I double checked that my username and password stuff is right, even reset the password to make absolutely sure it was correct. Nothing wrong there. So I delete my local Bin folder to force Minecraft to redownload, even nabbing a new launcher. Still no dice. Any other theories?

My absolute last possibility is changing my name. Mojang has been preventing me from accessing my profile on minecraft.net by making their webpages ask me to change my name due to a period being in it. I don't really have any other ideas for keeping my name recognizable as me, so either I fix this normally and continue using my illegal name or get suggestions for a good new name.

"Duke2point0"

Although they really should have just used a system that allowed all of the standard characters and spaces. We're not beating on logs and flat stones here. It's stupid to have any username restrictions short of using your name to insert code into the user database.

Lots of places deal with special character restrictions. My own fault for forging my identity using a system that allowed way too many characters.
