I hate to sound like an ass... and since I can't get to the Minecraft sites from work I can't totally be a bastard but I assume that this is official since he said Notch added them.  Experiment or not.

Seeing some of those in my house I may just start living in a fortress in a blasted, sterile crater on a sky island, bristling like a hedgehog with weaponry and hermeticaly sealed with piston-driven iron doors filled with magma in between layers on an obsidien shell. And a 100% glowstone interior. Clutching my bow and pannel of red buttons with my back to a wall. Never sleeping...

It's the only way to be sure... Uranium isn't _that_ valuable, and enrichment just needs a little glowstone and a lot of metal...

Hah, that would actually be pretty amazing. Left alone, they move about creepily and slowly rearrange the terrain. But if you approach them they make creepy noises until you get next to them, at which point they burst into song and dance and serenade you with flowers, wheat, mushrooms and sugercane.

Probably not all the time. Either rarely on their own or just once a year, like an April Fool's thing.

At least we know 1.8 should come out before november  :P
