Nah. It's bad when it tops off. Then you may be having some problems.
Like reading the XYZ data, I hate when the bar blocks it.

If you have a really low screen resolution they might be pretty big relative to the screen.
The red bars usually only go higher up during lag spikes.

When you first load up a new world and it has to load all of those chunks is the only time I get it high enough to obscure too much.

I can hardly believe my luck on this one.
I've already found ~14 diamond within that room and the surrounding caves.
Possibly 15 because I think I lost a diamond in the lava.

There was also this combo iron vein with at least ten blocks in it.

With the new IC cable loss, it should be possible to construct a fourth (256 solar panels!) iteration solar flower with zero loss.  However, you will RAPIDLY fill up the 3rd iteration MFEs and the central MFE, so you'll want to use crystals to improve their capacity.  11 crystals caps a single MFE.  Also, use HV transformers to take them far offsite, downconvert them and connect them to a large battery.

I find for changing spawns with beds, especially on SMP, it is necessary to get in the bed and Click Leave bed to set your home, not just sleep.
