Also, I actually own a copper pickaxe. The head's broken in the sense that it sometimes sildes on the handle, but nevertheless.

Word has it where I live, that if you can see them from there, it'll rain in 3 days. Oddly enough, it always works.

Oh, and, I live near a lake with carps. Yeah. I even saw a heroic fisherman gut one to death! Oh wait, it was already dead.

Sadly, there's no magma. There's plenty of flux and underground rivers, though, as it's mostly limestone over here. Anyway, once you get established I'm coming over to offer your fort my soap making skills.

Isn't that the hardcore city nearby the concrete-lake of radioactive waste - second only the the Chernobyl area in nuclear contamination? Must be an interesting city full of interesting, brave or insane people. I always thought it would be cool to go there actually.

The funny thing about areas with high nuclear contamination is that there are fewer mutated babies (of any species) in them than in areas that have low nuclear contamination (and therefore, pesticides.  Farming's gotta be on "clean" soil, y'know).
