Cool map
« on: April 27, 2009, 08:44:54 pm »

Ok, I have this really weird map which I love.

It has a mountain plane with trees that is like 10 levels high, below would be a cross section.

Ok, now below is just a brook, however above there are 4 peaks, a chasm on top of one peak, so it is like a vertical fall of 20 levels and
the top of it collapsed on it's own. Next to it is a magma pipe which reaches the surface.

I intend to make pyramids out of the peaks, but I'm not sure what to do with the chasm, but I made a magma-fall 20 Z levels high.

But the question is, can I drown the lower part in lava by just channeling it down? Will it fill up to the top? Can I exploit pressurized
lava via pump to make it so? Do edges contain lava? and act as walls?

If it's outside, yes; it will fill equal to where the channel/pump comes out (eventually) if your area doesn't go off the edge of the map; yes; no; no.

Lava doesn't flow off the map but it will flow right onto the edge so you can "end" the brook permanently.
