You take the left path.

You enter a small room, there are various items laying around. Theres a large monitor embeded in the wall. Some crates sit next to it.

Check to see if it is on.
If yes: Type "Help" and if that doesn't work type "/help".
If no: turn it on then do above.

You pick up the other items on the table, they are indeed a loaf of bread and a drink. Your match burns out, its not really that dark anyway.
