I agree. Neither is better, just different.

Could you make a version in green?

Ok, for Barbarossa, the green version:

Angel of Decay

Btw, the fractal is the exact same one used in Archangel V2.0, only the color gradient and gamma were changed.

The Splattering of the Fish

It's a rather simple one, but I like it.

They all look good, but the rest lack the "backround" that seems to go off into infinity, witch made it stick out from the rest of the Fractal Art I've seen. I do like what you have done with decay though.

To get that effect you have to zoom in the desired picture.  They stil can do it if they have file.

The soft is really easy to use... And pretty cool for making desktop backgrounds.

Yeah It was intentional, there was all kinds of variations I went through, like an angel or even some sort of insectoid, just kinda stuck with that one.

Also new picture \o/

I'm just getting back into a lot of this stuff after I watched
this amazing and wholly inspiring video
.

While I love Apophysis as much as the next, I will now furnish you with a stack of links to the other programs I've been checking out lately:
Paul N. Lee's list of fractal software. - This is the megalist, though some of these programs are ancient...
Incendia - I've not had a good look at this yet; the UI is a bit disheartening, but the program shows a lot of potential on the 3D aspect.
Soban's generative art programs
Other generative art
FracFan Forum - Not as much talk about harvesting kittens as Bay 12, but with a little work, we can change the world...
Enjoy!
