Finding elves.

My run of adventurers have enjoyed short but violent careers killing orcs, but i have yet to run into a single elf.

The world i am using does have them in it [they tried to trade with me in fort mode], but i cant seem to find any of them. any advice on finding [and eventually purging] the tree pansies?

[quick note, i am using mayday's tileset, what do elven towns look like?]

On the map they look like....yellow coffee mugs. yeah

Orcs tend to murder civs, maybe there are none left?

Didn't he just mention that they (Attempted) to trade with him?

Besides, if that we're true, there is only one true Dwarven Solution.

You must build a band of Dwarven warriors and bring the fight to each and every Orc Horde. Multiple adventurers after death aswell as several bands of Dwarves can be applied to this task. There will be bonus points if you burn down every single Fortress, as well as build pyres of Greenskin bodies.


Once every Orc Horde is torn to tatters, genocide complete, construct a series of Mountainhomes over each ruin, making the very species forgotten even in Lore and Legend.

Only than will your next path be clear. The Humans must fall, along with the Goblins. And the Kobolds for good measure.

Blood for the Blood God.

Found them and razed three forest retreats. Modest beginnings, but thrown in with the orc towers i emptied and its not too bad.
 
BTW, is there anyway to export the kills list? scrolling through it in DF is a major pain

<edit> Oddly enough, i think the orcs have already wiped the goblins out. i remember seeing them in the civs list on my last fort, but they never did anything noticeable [no ambushes or sieges, there was a theif or two] for 5 years. Maybe the other civs had them spayed?

I already completely burninated them in all of my worlds. In fact, their my first target, next to the elves.
