Err, buys things? I'm sure it's the default setting. If you don't have the cash you'll just put her back on the ground safely. Bit of an oversight really.

Mine is default "P".
Thanks :D

EDIT: The ghost is stupid. I hate games with time limits.

Anyone with time on their hands should try out the Spelunky Explorer mod.
Levels are 4X as large, and the ghost time limit is removed. Doors aren't found at the bottom, but somewhere random in the level. If you find a map, it's viewable by pushing ESC.

Well... I like the ghost.

Time limit ghosts scare me...I jumped out of my chair the first time I saw him...I JUST WANNA PLAY DICE ALL DAY!

EDIT: I just remembered the other game with a time up monster...BUBBLE BOBBLE! AHHHH!

The ghost annoys me endlessly and is the single entire reason why i stopped playing this.

I hate enforced time-limits with a passion, i don't mind the game subtracting score for taking ages, but if i want to spend an hour mining out every last piece of gold and slaughtering everything in the level to get 100% completion, it better damn well let me.

Dice IS pretty sweet. It'd be nice if there were a little forcefield around the casino so that I could just hang out and play dice all day, while the ghost impotently floats around the forcefield.

On a side note though Neruz, there is no percent completion. If you manage to kill/mine everything, the game doesn't record it or reward you in any way. How would you do that anyway? Oh yeah, Shortcut man's infinite mattock.

I know Josh, what i mean is other games often give you a score that is increased\decreased based on time. I'm fine with that.

What i'm not fine with is the game sending an instadeath impossible-to-evade killer after me because i didn't feel like racing through the level at mach 5.

He is not impossible to avoid. Sometimes I'll trigger him on purpose just so I can practice playing the deadliest game of Tag. I can avoid him just fine, given that I've memorized the map well enough.

Anyway without the sense of urgency given by the ghost the game would be a cakewalk.

Considering i have far more deaths from doing something stupid and\or running out of vital items than the Ghost catching me, no.

Agree'd. It's not hard to do it within the time limit, just annoying when I want to get everything I can/

It's not the ghost killing you it's you killing you to avoid the ghost. I think I've only seen the ghost maybe half a dozen times max out of my 600+ runs but I know that I would have died a lot less if I had of known I had infinite time and thus could spend as long as I like on each obstacle.

Ghost runs are the easiest* way to make big bucks, though.

Every gem a ghost passes over turns into a diamond. Good stuff.
