Ah, I forgot to fix the hammer picks! :) You have to go to raw/objects/item_dwarf.txt and under hammer pick change SKILL:HAMMER to SKILL:MINING. I will fix it in the Genesis release :).

thanks,though the zoom key messes up my mining because i cant find out how to stop using the mouse after i click.
to many mouse functions now =/

its ok,i just turned the mouse function off.

is it safe to play as the kolbold?
or will i get some kind of rampaging kolbold error?

i luv playing as kolbolds so i just had to ask that ^_^

Cool looking.  But, uh Deon?  There is no version of Dwarfletter called Celtic...since you're using just the typeface, just stick to using the term "Dwarfletter," please.

What do you mean by rampaging kobold error? Clarify please!
And no, it's not safe to play as kobold. There's a lot of big creatures trying to kill you. You have to sneak a lot and spit bugs at them (try blowgunner skill). But program-wise it's ok, I've dealt with all errors. If you encounter some though, or some inconviniences, just ask here and I'll fix them in a second.

accualy, if u have about 3 kolbolds (fully equiped and at least propficient in marksman) it can be deadlyer than you think.
and the rampaging error is caused when you dont get any food in the start they go like mad and kill everything but itself (but its only happened once)

so im guessing its ok to play as them not if its safe...i dotn want my cave to be safe,i wnt to be attacked :D

Hrrmpf, currently in fortress mode you play as dwarves, other races are not controllable. But it's easy to change.

Hrrmpf, currently in fortress mode you play as dwarves, other races are not controllable. But it's easy to change.

i know how to mod and do all that stuff,after all,i made it possible to smelt cows and make steel come out of it XD

Kobolds currently are more personalized for adventure/fortress mode (bug spitting, ant shells and stuff) so they may miss some important jobs/tools. But if you can mod then it's not a problem :).

i gave them the ability to fordge and scince they are [MINOR_METAL] only copper can be crafted (or so i think)
i allso gave them a type of diggin weapon (quite neat accualy)
