Yes and no. Random is kind of a loaded term.

Which is kind of a big thing. I can think of quite a few people who were convicted of serious crimes only for people to find out "Ohh, they didn't actually do anything". Light makes it quite evident that his thinking could easily be subject to hearsay. It isn't like he hasn't killed the wrong people before.

Light Yagami is presented as a horrible person and is a genuine villain protagonist, while Lelouche is deeply flawed but ultimately sympathetic and the hero.

5. Focus all of the world's hatred on myself and then have my friend kill me using my alter-ego, because I have waaay too much faith in humanity.

Genuinely decent guy with a massive ego and a talent for making poor life choices versus charismatic serial killer with a massive ego and a talent for making poor life choices. It's easy to see why people compare them, even though it doesn't really hold up in practice. It's mostly just that they're both not quite as smart as they think they are and neither seems to entirely grasp the idea that escalation doesn't always make things better, or that people will continue to be assholes regardless of what you do.

Well, we can have subjective opinions about what anti-hero means, or we can use the traditional definition:

It might be weird, but that's how it's been defined for over 300 years, and I think it's better to use established definitions than to all have our personal definitions for words, for the simple reason that having personal definitions for words makes communication impossible.

Fiction and the language surrounding it has changed so much in the last 300 years that a definition that old is basically worthless.  It would be like saying that gay still means happy.

I mean the difference between tragedy and comedy was at one point literally just one has a bad ending one has a good ending.

Continuing my enjoyment of Ashita no Joe 2, all the English voice acting is hilariously bad. Every word is simultaneously over enunciated and sounds like the speaker has two cheeks full of marshmellows.

Moreover, every Non-Japanese foreign boxer speaks this broken English inexplicably. I can kinda understand the Mexican one, that's plausible enough even though I'm sure he should be speaking Espanol, but also the Venezuelan speaks English as his first language instead of whatever they speak over there, and also the South Korean boxer speaks natural English instead of Korean... I'm not sure if you know this Japan, but all foreigners don't speak English, just letting you know.

Also, the characters in Fate are so obnoxious. Like, their decision making process makes hardly any sense at all.

Archer: Why would you team up with Emiya? Why not Caster? (Um, because Caster will stab you so hard in the back it's not even funny.)
Emiya: I have 1 command seal left. I'm going to go to school without Archer. It'd be too much to ask her to sit in the huge wooded area behind the school, at the very least.
Emiya: Can't let Saber sleep in my room, as she is female. Despite the fact that I was just flung across the entire city by magic less than 24 hours ago and almost died multiple times.

Not to mention Emiya's terrible running into every battle, which I could write off as a "character trait" and so on. Like, if I was in this super-war I'm pretty sure I'd win hands down because I would actually like make decisions based off of basic strategy (and not even the whole soul sucking thing).

Bit late to the party, but Shirou is dumb regardless and hearing his mental dialogue doesn't help in understanding why he does things.
He is, by far, the worst character in the series, and just because he has vague reasons for acting like an idiot 90% of the time it doesn't make him in any way sympathetic or likable.

Rarely have I seen a protagonist so terrible.

He's essentially supposed to be somewhat mentally handicapped, with his "only gets validation in life through saving or protecting others/as such doesn't care about himself at all" combo, so of course he's going to act like he's an idiot from a normal person's point of view. Attempts to protect him fly directly in the face of that, since they're essentially asking him to place his life at a higher point than someone else's, so of course he's going to try to avoid or stop them.

And as for Archer, he finally realized how stupid the idea of only getting validation through other's is, but by that point he was already locked into an eternity of "helping" people through killing others, rendering it impossible for him to ever act on the fact that he now values his own life and desires more than those of others. That's exactly the type of situation that regularly shows up in stories to drive people into the "even non-existence is better than this" omnicidal phase. So it's not too surprising that when he finally gets offered an out, any out, that he tries to take it and throw himself into nonexistence (by killing Shirou).

If it's still hard to visualize try a flipped example, I find it's a little easier to see the reasoning in it for me, personally:
Imagine you live by the tenant of "take care of number 1 first". You literally don't care a whit for other people, and freely take from those around you on whims because you honestly believe that your whims are more valuable than their needs. Now after a lifetime of doing this a mob predictably gathers and goes to string you up, and as you are standing there under the noose you think, "You know did all this taking really do anything for me? I'm still getting killed here in the end. Heck, maybe if I had of been willing to occasionally help out others and be nice to them then I wouldn't even be getting strung up right now!" You've had an epiphany, and you want to make amends, but it's too late. The floor drops and the magical contract you signed earlier in your life kicks in, and it's going to force you to do things like eat cake in front of starving children, force people out of their houses without a second chance, and go around shoving people to the ground because they were in your road for the rest of eternity. You will never be able to make amends... ever.

Finally after centuries of tormenting others you see a chance to escape this hell. You've been summoned to a time back before you signed the contract, and if you can only kill yourself then you will instantly be wiped from existence. All the horrible things that you did while you were still alive, and have been forced to do since you died, will be wiped away.

That's pretty much exactly the Shirou/Archer story, just flipped in the me/others dynamic. Shirou firmly believes that even the whims of others are more important than his deepest desires. Archer has an epiphany near death and realizes that that's not right, and that he wants revenge for some of the things that were done to him (notably killing him), but it's too late and he's forced into an eternity of "saving" others in the most gruesome fashion imaginable. After he's finally given up hope of ever being able to get out and put himself first, he's offered an out in the form of killing himself when he was younger. All he has to do is pull that off and the entire slate will be wiped clean, and he himself will be released to blissful nonexistence instead of this eternity of hell.

I am still watching that Monster girl show... and well...

I have to say, the show would probably be improved if it was either more porny or if it was less porny... (For those who don't know, it is Ecchi not porn)

It kind of hit that sort of point where it kind of gets close to sexual moments but never quite goes far enough making it just teasingly toothless... Or it starts approaching being interesting and character driven only to be compromised by the pornyness.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Echiness of the series actually works in its favor (Ignoring that the writer clearly ran out of ideas several times) since well... It kind of goes to places it normally wouldn't.

I really should stop watching but ehhhhh.... too much effort.

I don't think character development is the foremost thing on one's mind when one is watching a show about scantily clad demihumans getting themselves off
