But... but... political intrigue in LoGH is what spices up all that military tactics and grand strategy in just the right way! It's what makes LoGH that grand masterpiece, not just a damn good military show. :(
It's not a good war without political intrigue.

Speaking of space operas there have been Sunrider games coming out on Steam lately since the Kickstarter was funded in January. I finished the first one and the second game should be out today. They're kind of silly and super harem-y but I think they've been fairly fun.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I found it to be an excellent show. The characters are kind of grating at first (Nene in particular), but they really grow on you.

Two more days until Gundam Reconguista in G *squees and vibrates*
I just caught a glimpse of this new Gundam, it looks pretty.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Anyways I've had a hard time liking recent Gundam series enough to finish them through due to whenever I start liking a character, they literally die next episode, without fail. And this happens multiple times a series too...So I'm fearful I curse Gundam characters to their grave, lol.
Good series, yes, but I keep killing the people in it I like to watch! (lol)

Pff why use SEED as the name for the syndrome. Zeta did it first. SEED doesn't deserve the honor

Oh wait you said that in the show barely anyone dies up til then. Nevermind.

I just never like it when a series where almost no one ever dies, or where people do miraculous saves... and it just stops and people start dropping like flies.

In ANY form.

SEED also leads to what I call Gundam Seed Destiny Syndrome AKA Akuma Syndrome

There are many things that could be referring to but have no idea which one it is since I don't know Streetfighter well at all. I am curious now.

Well, SEED admittedly is where I draw the line by my comment of recent Gundam Series.
Admittedly my liked-now-dead characters in SEED weren't exactly the final choices i made in the end.

Sexy robo action scenes can make me get past it, but I don't wanna watch a four-episode fight and see the entire cast of who all I even cared for meet their maker.
that said, Gundam Series Mech Designs starting with the ASTRAYs are probably where my robophilia begins.
(But even then I prefer the Nirvash Type-0 Spec2 from E7 but w/e)

Well basically Gundam Seed Destiny Syndrome is where

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

---

Its that time again for Kindaichi is the worst detective ever! I honestly wish I could convey to you the sheer amount of incompetency in this case. It is the first time in this entire series where I honestly questioned if Kindaichi actually let people die.

Episodes: 16, Cases 5.
Deaths: 18 (15 targets, 1 incidentals, 2 killer) (4 target, case 5)
Successful Murder Sprees: 3 (1 in case 5)
People Saved: 3 (0 in case 5) (There was a retroactive save some time back that I originally discounted)

I will say though that for an anime detective show this one is kind of unusual. Since usually in these shows the Jerks are either victims or kept alive to be a red herring. In this show they are NEVER the killer and honestly only one Jerk has survived to date. You honestly could pick out victims by who is being a jerk.

Also, he said " whenever I start liking a character", so Zeta pulls a short straw here too.

Ok ok, I'll stop.. :P
