In Chuu2 Ren episode 4, the characters briefly visited a restaurant. The sign was a sideways green M, and the sign on the restaurant said "EcDonalds."
Not sure if Engrish, or just making fun of McDonalds.
There's an
entire sub-section on TV Tropes listing McDonalds stand-ins in anime. MaskDonalds, MagRonalds, WackDonalds, etc.
I have been catching up for a little bit now and Sakura Trick is better than I could have ever expected. (^༗‿༗^)
Let us hope that Yuru Yuri gets a third season someday~!
Yuru Yuri 3 has already been announced.
I have a hard time understanding what these delays actually are. It's not as if they're making the episodes week by week.
Whatever, I can still watch Silver Spoon.
Studios run all year, producing 12 or 13 episodes per 13 weeks of the year (per production unit, not named "studio"). they are in fact making these shows week by week. Think about it this way: Each anime production studio is making shows all the time. If not the current one, then the next one. And they do in fact need to produce 12 or 13 episodes per studio production unit per 13 weeks of the year. The only thing that changes is how much lead time they have, and it's usually no more than 2-3 weeks.
They do not have the luxury of producing an entire 6 months worth of show before it starts airing. Consider Evangelion, where they went broke before doing the ending and had to have the last two episodes as cut-and-paste filler.
It's also the reason they like doing recap episodes about 2/3rds of the way in for 6 month series, it gives them a chance to catch up, as well as spend more time animating the important ending episodes.
