After a while of not watching animoos I felt like watching a romcom animoos. Truly, I have only the finest taste in high class anime material.
Anyway, some quick searching on the internet for some random thing that looks like it won't completely destroy my remaining rights to a man card provides Toradora. Only six minutes into the first episode and the main character dude appears to be cursed with being a social outcast due to his perpetual "scowling" eyes...that apparently his deadbeat mother finds incredibly attractive because it resembles the main character's dad, whom main character strongly dislikes. But that's a tangent, and mildly creepy. Dat mom be creepy, yo.
Odd how the last two romcom style animes I've watched feature a similar main character: social outcast dude with a reputation for looking like a creep/killer/jerkbag/etc. First Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU with dead-fish-eye guy and now this. Must be a trope or something.
not that I'm complaining, such a trope still seems more refreshing than harems centered around incredibly girly looking guys who are also extremely popular and fueled by friendship with everyone.
Anyway, there's my two cents on a thing. Butting back out now. Carry on as you were, professional anime connoisseurs of the anime thread.
