In Chuu2 Ren episode 4, the characters briefly visited a restaurant. The sign was a sideways green M, and the sign on the restaurant said "EcDonalds."

Not sure if Engrish, or just making fun of McDonalds.

I'm not sure if Japanese laws are a bit more strict on trademarks, or if Japanese writers are just a bit more leery about risking unauthorized uses, but that tends to happen a lot in anime -swap a letter around a bit, and if anyone complains (not that anyone does), feign ignorance.  WcDonalds is another popular stand-in.

So i'm slowly building up my manga collection, Blue Exorcist is up to date with preorder for next month release along with the UQ Holder for american debut. Along side that i started working on the Spice and Wolf manga, yes i'm well aware of the light novels but i had already read those long before and the manga is based off on that so why not. I like the art, its a bit different than the anime but overall following the correct storyline that i enjoy.

No worries. I started watching and really enjoyed it but I found the ridiculous outfit the protagonist has to wear a bit too much.

The writer did it to the physics of the world, which did it to her. Not her fault.

Which is, frankly, sort of the point. If they'd toned it down it would have just been the traditional vein of perverted fanservice that tries to pretend it isn't what it is. Y'know, as opposed to lampshaded over-the-top perverted fanservice.

I agree it was funny, but it's still, as you say, OTTPFS.

Maybe I'll try watching it when incredibly drunk, and thus not have the mental capacity to get embarrassed by it's dodginess.

EDIT : Eventually got over the ridiculousness of that and watched the first two episodes. The randomness is palpable - not just in the plot but in the laws of physics, animation style, seriousness of a situation, etc. Very much enjoying so far.

2. You're missing Harima and Mikoto. They have some wierd confusion stuff in season 1 which would probably translate to green line.
