Image/Quote of the DayCurrent EventsTypical morning, started looking around to figure out how to stop the magic-kill everybody at school (during lunch break) which will probably go off on 2/12 by Saber's and Tohsaka's magic prediction skills. Run into Shinji and yeah he's a Master with the Servant Rider. That kinda bugs me but then I realize the Matou family is a magical family anyway even if the bloodline is dead. Thankfully Sakura doesn't know anything even though she's Shinji's sister. Shinji invites me to his house and I accept warily, ditching school in the process.
At his house he shows me his Servant Rider and wants me to join his side since I'm a Master he could trust initially. I refuse point-blank since Shinji doesn't seem so keen about Tohsaka and his intentions look muffled as well. Shirou asks if Shinji made the death-circle however surprisingly Shinji says he didn't do it, which I guess is most likely the truth since,
1. his Servant is Rider, not Lancer
2. he has absolutely no magical ability whatsoever, not even a Command Spell!
As I'm about to leave Shinji leaves the important nugget that Rider sensed a Master at the Ryuudou Temple which is probably the person causing the "gas incidents" which is actually just them sucking life force out of random citizens at an optimum position. Anywho, Shinji lets me leave and as I'm going back home I try to speak to Rider, who smells like blood but is actually pretty friendly with me and knows that I'm like the only person Shinji talks to. I like how even though Shinji shows traits as the popular guy who's a jerk to only certain people he's actually known as a jerk to everybody and is pretty lonely. It's also worth noting that Rider's alignment is Neutral Good or Lawful Neutral, I don't remember. Servants seem to share traits with their Masters so that's interesting.
As I walk home I bump into Issei who is heading home from school to the temple, yes the Ryuudou Temple he is Issei Ryuudou after all. He acts pretty normal (yells that Tohsaka is the devil) and I ask if anything strange is going on at the temple, which he says there's actually a new lady there who is getting a lot of attention. Of course I'm guessing this new visitor is the Master Shinji was talking about.
Anyway, at dinner when all the innocent people leave Shirou & co talk about battle plans. Shirou spills everything he heard from Shinji and of course Saber and Tohsaka are like whaaat. Archer is still "healing" and Shirou hasn't even met him yet. Saber really wants to head to the temple tonight and is prepared for battle, Tohsaka says they should probably wait until they even have any information besides "the enemy is here".
I, of course, think we should go kick some ass. Saber and I get battle ready and I bring along my wooden sword, Tohsaka says she'll come by later tomorrow and loot our bodies for anything good. When we get to the temple I get caught in a teleportation spell and Saber gets attacked by Rider. I stand face to face with the powerful Master at the temple, who blows my body in half and then cuts my hand off for the three command spells, which they can use on Saber as a slave. I pass away floating on the river."No, that's stupid." I say to Saber and the three of us head to bed for the night. Saber decides to sneak out herself and confronts Servant Assassin at the temple and gets into a brawl with them. Shirou senses that his Servant is in battle by his Command Spell hand and heads to the temple straight away after he sees Saber is missing and where else would she be?! Saber and Assassin exchange blows and the battle ends in a stalemate when Assassin senses a Servant spying on them, who I predict is Rider because
1. I had a precognition from a previous life
2. Shinji probably gave us that info to gain even more info themselves without getting in harm's way
Shirou witnesses the two stand down with each other and Assassin heads back to the temple nonchalantly. I don't know what happened with the spying Servant but they probably fled back to
Shinji their Master with news on crap that went down and other vital information. Shirou brings Saber back and we discuss what went on with Tohsaka at 2am.
Shirou is having some crazy problems since he doesn't want Saber to fight yet Saber wants to fight. Shirou also keeps blabbing about his thoughts on women which I think are poor to say the least. At least Saber thinks so too. Anyway, they decide Shirou should at least learn some sword training from Saber and magic training from Tohsaka and call it a night. Don't know if I'll be going to school or not tomorrow.
CharactersSchoolShirouActs like a nice guy still, tells Rider to take good care of Shinji since he has problems. Rider comments that Shirou is a good friend. My only problem still is that Shirou doesn't think women should be able to fight. He thinks that since he is a guy that he should be protecting women and not the other way around, it's weird to say the least.
IsseiBump into him like once today, again. Blabs about not liking Tohsaka and he also lives at the Ryuudou Temple, I hope he isn't involved at all. :\
TohsakaUh. Training me in magic tomorrow, talked a lot to me today about serious crap.
Sakura Was herself. Good thing she's not involved.
ShinjiMaster! His intentions are also vague as hell. He brings me to his place to join him, which I refuse, then he tells me about the temple Master and let's me go peacefully. Then I find out he sent Rider to watch the temple for any info, this is not good. I need to speak with him tomorrow.
Fuji-NeeNothing much.
Don't have comments on any other classmates or teachers. Nothing notable at least.
ServantsArcherWho is this guy again?
LancerHasn't shown his face.
SaberDoesn't like that Shirou keeps insisting she doesn't fight. Actually getting to the point of yelling at Shirou late that night. She wants to fight and she's even a Servant so she would be the one fighting! I think she's right. Also fought Assassin today against Shirou's orders.
BerserkerDidn't see.
RiderMysterious looking, face mask and all. Thought she was Assassin at first, hehe. Shirou said she smelled like blood but she doesn't seem like that bad a person at all. Even without any Command Spells she still follows Shinji's orders even though she has no reason to now.
AssassinJapanese swordsmen, doesn't fit the 'Assassin' motif because he uses a long ass sword and confronts his enemies directly. He's not the one to chase a fleeing opponent either, just seems to want a good fight. It's also interesting that he's not really a legend or hero. His existence is almost completely fictional, he was only known by name by one single person, the guy that killed him.
