Goodness I have never seen such as hand holding team in all anime.

Basically the current main villain is having a tag battle and his partner is a total loser.

I wonder if he will get an upgrade but frankly if the previous episodes have anything to say about it... it is basically a 2 v 1 match.

Ahhh yes. I love how odd the timing for LiveOn is. It got going REALLY early and always moved at a brisk pace.

I am halfway through the series, a bit more then that, and I hit the "The show might as well be over but we are going to continue it anyway".

They are the champions, they beat the bad guy (who turned out not to be evil), all the inner struggles of all the characters are resolved, and all the mysteries have been revealed.

It could just end. Let me see how many more episodes are there here, it probably just has a side adventure... 22!?!

What will be this newly added adversary? What new challenges await them? What possible inner struggles could be left? and how will they make the "Ultimate monsters" even weaker? How contrived could it possibly be?

All this as horrible animes continue!

First half of episode 8 in Umineko finished.  Have to wait for the 2nd half patch to come out now.  The game got really Professor Layton-y at one point, which was really cool.

EDIT:
I read all of the manga series Darker than Black - Shikkoku no Hana (Jet Black Flower) which was really awesome.  It's 33 chapters long and it's non-canon, but the whole last 2/3rd of the manga is just a never ending action-movie of awesome.  The art was great too.  If you want more Hei action you gotta read it.

I also read volume 9 of Shin Angyo Onshi, which never leads to disappoint.  Won Sul is amazing man.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei was quite the good show! It's actually pretty rare to find a comedy based anime that can actually make me laugh. I was really disappointed though when I see the second to last episode, and it looks like there might actually be a little coherent story to finish off the series, and then the last episode is kind of a non sequitur...

It's really hard to dislike a show that doesn't take itself seriously at all, and just has fun with each episode.

I will most likely investigate the continuing seasons.

Now, what next?

Actually, I'm not the type of person to immediately go after the second season of something after watching the first. I enjoy tasting a little bit of everything. Gorging yourself on only one thing will only make yourself blase to the experience, and unappreciative of it's delicacies.

That, and it's actually very difficult for me to just up and go get it.

Atleast, that's what I believe you were referring to.

Maybe I'll try Godannar next, or Nodame Cantobile.

Or maybe I'll get Electromagnetic Girlfriend out of the way, or Porco Rosso, that's been sitting around and egging me on for quite a while now.

I don't want to spoil anything, and I don't mean to try to sway your opinion, but I found that the manga is much better when covering the events of the anime, and a little while later, but at a certain point, the quality just dropped to inexcusably bad levels, and the appeal of the show dissolves almost completely.

Let me know if you experience this same thing.

Wait, so Berserk (manga) jumps the shark?  Just curious, because I was considering reading it.

If you don't mind crying your eyes out I recommend the Saikano manga.
