And I've yet to hear a negative thing about it, so I guess that'll be my next.

Well I am holding back on Fairytale as it is an ongoing anime and I don't want to hit a wall like I did with some other animes I've seen (it was flat out painful for Hitman reborn and Yamino Pastichie). Though so far I am surprised by how much it seems to hold back on the filler... Though I find it funny how much they basically try to write out that the main character isn't Luffy by giving him arbitrary weaknesses to distance him (though I have a feeling Fairytale could have been made first).

Though I find it odd how everyone is like "Id love to actually be part of fairytale" and I am going "WOW, Id be totally miserable in Fairytale. Everyone is rowdy, they drink all day, everyone wants to hover around you, it would be a total nightmare!". If I was in that anime I'd be that loser who sits in the corner who gets his butt kicked all the time for being "anti-social".

So now I am back to animeless. Maybe I should just find the rest of that really really really bad card based anime I was watching with the girl who's "duel disk" is actually on her leg. I mean, it is bad but at least it is a flavor of bad I can stomach. I mean It has Anime Winnie the Pooh what else does Live-On have in store for me?

Live-On is odd sometimes because it feels like it is happening in a vacuum. Despite it being a vital part of everyday life you will never see monsters outside of the wilderness or our heros using them themselves.

I mean... you can summon a freeken monkey that you can talk to... That is an awsome pet! They are far more intelligent and well behaved then a real monkey to boot.

Dang it Liveon! at least Yu-gi-oh had the excuse that the monsters weren't real.

It is odd in the way that it is the complete opposite of Cooking Master Boy. In that Anime cooking was EVERYTHING! Heck serving mediocre food was actually a punishable offense (the person who ate the food is actually legally allowed to wreck the place). The plot revolved around cooking like it was the start all and end all of the universe even when it stopped making sense. Heck you could control the WORLD if your cooking was good enough. It was the reason why I loved that crazy anime.

Yet in this anime it SHOULD be everything. Monsters should be one of the driving forces of industry, transportation, and even pets, but it is thrown to one side. Even its major tournaments, that should be like the olympics, feel barren (heck so far there were only TWO adults). Angelic Layer felt like it mattered more and it was just a Youth trend. It is so absent in the daily lives of the characters that when a monster does appear everyone is quick to say "Tuck it away!" like it is a disease.

LOL. Actually, I think it's mainly just because DBZ was so ridiculously popular with my friends when I was a kid, that now it's completely ingrained in my subconscious. Looking at it objectively though... Yeahhhh.

Prepare yourself for excellent OP and ED songs with some extremely wierd animation from here to there. The SZS manga on it's own was fucking wierd enough before Shinbo got his hands on it and took it someplace else.
