Well yeah Localisation can do it. Though not translation unless you get a very close equivilant (but those are uncommon)

As one person once said in defense of localisation: "Trap? I thought you said Baseball card"

I was watching RoE 2.22, and I swear to God above whoever chose Kaji's voice actor should've found a guy who could speak english.

In the start, when he was talking to those dudes, I was like ffuuuuu that's not english man

Just finished Bleach's Fade to Black.  Plenty of plot holes and weirdness, but there were some pretty enjoyable moments.

It was hard to think of the right words for the second one.  The demotivator generator didn't allow enough space for 'Yamamoto vs. Cthulu' so, eh, you guys get the picture.

Urgh, the size and placement of the female characters eyes in Clannad is horrible.

And apparently they are supposed to signalize naivety and/or weak-willedness.
Exceptions are the irritable one, she gets the same eyes as the male characters and the one who can adjust their personality according to the situation, her eyes are adaptable.

That's how I see it.
I'll try a couple more episodes, but I fear we won't get along well...

40 hours or so in, and finally a choicepoint.  I think we can safely call that one of the longest introductions ever.

Try and ignore the flaws in the artwork if you can. The story and humor are worth it.

For me, Clannad only really became enjoyable in After Story. And it's mostly because Sunohara.

It just might not be your cup of tea though. The series as a whole is pretty overdramatic.

Yeah but unfortunately a new Umineko episode likely won't mean new Umineko anime episodes.

Though I am still half convinced the lack of ending was intentional.
