My friend showed me Azumanga Daioh, it was pretty funny. Do you guys have any suggestions for other funny anime?

Azumanga Daioh has some very unique humor in it among anime. i havnt really seen another anime with that kind of humor, try "lucky star".

Yeah Excel Saga's good and funny. Except for episodes 24 and 25, where the comedy got explicitely removed (and then still. Beam o war using your foot? heh).

And then there's the infamous 26th episode...

Yeah, Lucky Star is the closest fit to Azumanga Daioh I've found.

Black Lagoon, damn that anime was awesome XD Now to do something I've been puttung off for ages...

After being burned by so many gag series that go serious those episodes resonate in a darkly comedic way for me.

They're at least a lot funnier than the last episode. I dunno if they beat bowling pin Hyatt though.

The Term 'best' is a pretty subjective one, but yeah, i'm prone to miss stuff.

HOW does the twist that Natsumi is actually male change anything about the case at all?  Ok, I can accept that they can look at the crimes, then look at Natsumi and say "You're too weak to do that".  But how does actually being an effeminate man change your strength??  Argh.

And that's before we even get into the fact that Ran can kick down doors and yet stabbing knives into people is apparently too much physical exertion for women...

I think it was more about that man being hanged, and the other one being dragged across the beach. Which a strong woman would still be able to do anyway, so that point is moot.

Nope the fillers are over, for now.  Not much happened in this episode though :/  Don Kanonji showed up to embarrass himself again Aizen and help Icihgo's real life friends escape certain death, but Rangiku was the one who actually distracted Aizen and Gin long enough.  Gin apparently killed off Rangiku for good, or just knocked her out, it was hard to tell.  Ichigo is in his inner world, trying to beat the 'Final Gestugatensho' out of Tensa Zangetsu, when suddenly Zangetsu does a fusion dance with Ichigo's hollow and reveals they're equal parts of Ichigo's power, which is kinda boring really.  They clash swords a bit, not much else.

I stopped expecting interesting things from Bleach a long time ago.  I just want to see the ending at this point.  Although yes... I've heard from my friends who follow the manga how well THAT turned out.

I'm making mental notes of how NOT to make an interesting story.

I'd rather watch Devilman or Legend of the Overfiend than watch Bleach.

Though Violence Jack and Fist of the North Star are pretty good too.

To me, bleach, naruto, and others are signs of general decay rather than general prosperity, in relation to the art form and its direction.

Ryu Hayabusa would kill EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the naruto series, EASILY, and be home in time for sake and fish dumplings.
