I finished up to episode 439 of One Piece for today.  In the episodes I saw today the major things of notice for me would be:

Anyway,
Making my favorite One Piece music list.  Sounds good yeah?
  • Overtaken - definitely one of the best build-up songs
  • Karakuri Castle,Transform - besides sounding like The Matrix at some points this is a really intense piece
  • SogeKing - you can call this a gag song all you want, however this song is awesome arrr
  • Because We Are Alive/Mother Sea - going to go cry in a corner now
  • Three Towers - let's go exploring!  this gives me a faint reminder of Serious Sam for some reason
  • Luffy's Fierce Attack - nothing wrong with this piece at all, it's really good
  • UunanAndTheStoneStorageRoom - another one of my favorite dramatic pieces
  • Angry - the first half is very snazzy and I remember it playing a lot early on in the series, the second part is way too sappy though for my tastes
  • Duel - time 1:05-end is pretty good
  • Fight Back Sanji And Usopp - starts off with a jazzy as hell intro, but then I guess it kinda forgot what to do next because the next part is just not as good

Also, I'm guessing the ending of Impel Down arc will be awesome, sounds good.  I think I'm about ten episodes away.

My god, I've turned into a raging Axis Powers Hetalia fangirl.  Go check it out.  I think I suggest the manga over the anime, although the anime can be entertaining and has surprisingly strong voice acting.

For anyone who doesn't know about it, it's a series about the personification of various countries throughout their histories, particularly during World War II.  It's very lighthearted and on the politically incorrect side, though the dub is even worse about the political incorrectness.  That said, it has the only dub I've ever liked--as it is all done in semi-accurate accents, which is a surprise and treat to listen to once in a while.

Anyway, I've found myself quite fond of it, so perhaps you'll enjoy it, too.

It's something I would've thought would be insensitive, but which is somehow so innocent and fun that I can't help but like it.  Hmm.
