Does the whole "now we have weird creatures coming out of us" thing ever come up again? Or is the arrow/Silver Chariot Requiem's "plan" just weird and inscrutable?

Oh, and as promised the original translation is pretty bad. That's probably a third option for that question.

(I wish there was a better generic comic font than Comic Sans. It's not as egregiously bad a choice for something like this than, say, work email, but it's still kind of an eyesore. Then again, I guess I mostly see it in older scans? So maybe it's just a product of earlier times and less abundant free fonts.)

So they meet Polnareff at the Colosseum, he fights Doppio, then Silver Chariot remembers its actually Silver Chariot Requiem and that meandering chase scene starts up.

Polnareff as the turtle grabs the arrow, loses the arrow, then gets dropped on the ground and this starts happening. The next couple of pages outline a weird plot thread that as far as I can tell is just completely forgotten about afterwards.

In fact, I'm not even sure if he remembers to draw the weird fish scorprion coming out of the turtle after this chapter.

So, long story short, probably not something that comes up again, if you don't remember it at all?

So we see the actor for the first time... Now... I am already pretty sure he is going to be a total jerk because of pointless drama (he is playing the main character)...

But in an interview they are talking about how he is playing The Great Saiyaman who to quote "Only showed up for a short period of time and went away a long time ago".

Now in a NORMAL interview the question they would ask him "Why play someone so obscure?" or "What do you think you can bring to this character?" or "Why him over a more well known hero?" or something along the lines.

Instead they ask this VERY clear pointless drama kindling "Why play someone so uncool?"... I don't need to fill you in at what he says after that... but goodness

Besides what Reelya said, KonoSuba is getting a second season. It's fun and comfy comedy despite being Deen, though, doesn't match the serious business feel of the others you mention, but could still be fun since it sounds like you're into isekai, and it's excellently voice acted.

Oh cool, I enjoyed the first season, mostly because it was dumb fun that didn't shoot high and therefore didn't miss its shots. I'll check the other stuff out as well, thanks guys. Hopefully the year has some interesting gems like last did.

Wow yeah, that... seems to not come up ever again. I assume it was a reference to the endgame of Part 2, but it kind of feels like he changed his mind about it being a thing.

I just found out about this yesterday! I'm so happy is streaming through Netflix, too! The first episode came out in Japan Sunday -- does anyone know what the English schedule is like?

I liked the second movie (which, again, only found out it exists yesterday), but it definitely suffered for having the MC's oblivious self-obsession driving the plot. That might not be so bad in 20 minute episodes, as long as they either don't play it up so much or have her grow, but we'll see.

For me the only flaw of the series as a whole are well... there are two

1) It is another "Jerk World" setting. (Already a -1 to its score)
and
2) The magic stuff can be so numerous and distracting that it comes off as noise... It is like it wants to be Spirited Away but doesn't know how to pace the visuals.

That is it... it is otherwise good.

Majo no Shinzou has left me an emotional train wreck.
Also it's really good. 10/10 would emotionally traumatize myself again.
