I just turned on partial print, guise. It put my 23ish FPS in the intro to 100. My 6 FPS sprawl fort is now playable.

Turn it on, guise. Ignore that crap about it not working for all systems.

 Unless you have one of those systems it does not work on. Kinda hard to ignore it there.

 But yes, it does amazing things. Just don't minimize the window/select another window/mess around with designations with the minimap on.

I do all of those things, and nothing bad happens. Guess those are some of the things that don't work for certain systems.

In your init.txt in the \data\init folder you will find the following line:

[PARTIAL_PRINT:NO:2]

He is saying that if you change it to:

[PARTIAL_PRINT:YES:2]

You will have a significantly higher framerate.

This thing you turn on in init. It stops the game from displaying stuff you won't have on the screen anyway.

I find it messes up certain menus sometimes (makes the whole screen flicker in a seizure-inducing fashion). I didn't notice much change in framerate either.

I have it set at [PARTIAL_PRINT:YES:10].  That seems to work except for in adventure mode.

for me it doesnt work i get only black screen as long nothing is moving. like the title screen i only see the title menu anything but options, and them only after i moved the curser
