I tried runtime joining and it crashed.
We then restarted.
IT WAS EPIC FUN.
Apart from the bit where Mother Nature hated us.

Yeah, after I disabled runtime join, the game ran for five hours without a crash.

Interestingly, Armok's name actually originates from arm_ok, a variable in one of Toady's earlier games that kept track of how many of your arms weren't missing.

any images?
Well, not from me, anyway...
The reasoning?
After five hours of leakproofing the entire map, a meteor fell through a gigantic chasm and tore a hole in the thin bottom, causing the entire, now oil/water-filled map to drain into the abyss.
I wasn't about to sit there for lord-knows-how-long at 15 seconds per frame.
If it weren't for that, I would have saved an endgame copy of the map and provided the full 7500x2500 as I did for the previous round.

How do you take such large pictures?

Also, an earlier volcano caused a leak, possibly not a meteor, If it was the game I think it was.

I don't.  It's a copy of the actual file used by the game to store the terrain, as provided by a save.

And no, this was after you left.
Even worse then that one.

Wow, This is quite a blast from the past! Oh the days I spent with friends playing this. I got fairly into the scripting too, I set up more interesting tree scripts with sprites that changed depending on the hydration of the trees (it checked the area beneath and around the roots/trunk for water and 'drank' it periodically to grow/create new saplings) with dry trees being more prone to fire than well watered ones. That and a few other 'a-life'-esk scripts that made the wildlife more interesting.

I enjoyed creating object packs and maps that focused more on survival and setting up a base than the core scripts offered, like starting with a single clonk and having to make tools so you could dig or chop trees etc. We had hours of fun.

Do you guys play co-op maps more or brawls?

I prefer co-op, myself, also, your mods sound quite nice, that style of play was my favourite too.

I tried some realistic mods, for instance fire that melts ice, smoke that is actually dangerous, etc.  It basically slowed the game to a crawl on my map, as it's so large.  Otherwise, I would have kept those enabled.
I believe they're still in the conglomerate, just not set up for the map.

Hint: If you purchased the game, the Editor password is "Siedlerclonk" without quotes.
Enjoy.
Repeating this: A bug in the engine back when I bought my copy causes my name to show up as the name of the person who bought their copy directly before me.  Thus: ignore the author name on my mods.
