Hopefully I have not made a grievous error and sentenced myself to disgrace, but I have, alas, fallen to the succubus known as RTD. It has perked my interest enough to control such a world based on dice rolls and insanity, ergo my selling out. And so, I bring to you:
webadict's RTD
All rolls are on a 6-sided die. As with most RTD, the rolls follow this form:
1-Major Failure
2-Failure
3-Partial Failure
4-Success
5-Major Success
6-Overshot
However, as die rolls can be modified, if the roll goes below 1, it will be classified as an Epic Failure. This is [usually] Bad!
Also, if a roll goes above 6, it will be classified as an Epic Overshot. This is [usually] Good!
The situation is that you are in a white room, with no visible light source, despite the fact that it is bright enough to see. There is a single door on one side of this room, and there are 7 other people in the room with you, just as lost as you, as everyone is just starting to wake up. Everyone is dressed in their pajamas. In the middle of the room is a chest with an old-school, giant padlock (the kinds with the giant keyholes in the front) on it. There is a recording playing the same words over and over: "Escape the maze..." There is nothing else noticeable about the room at this point.
Your goal: To escape. Most people prefer to do this alive, but it's really up to you. First to the finish wins!
So... yeah, if you wanna start just say so. I'll only allow 8 people to play, since I hear it takes forever to roll. But yeah, have fun and try not to die*.
