Today I got a ring made of wood called FriendOak (it did have oak in it) which has an image of a Necro slab on it called the Spews of vomiting on it.  Later on, a kid got a mood and made a goat bone bed with an image of the ring on it.

The thing that's weird about this artifact is: It was created with gold in a forge.

Yet it includes lignite.

HOW did that forging work, exactly?!

I just broke my value record for a (non planepacked) artifact: an adamantine giant axe blade worth 2,815,200 Dorfbucks.  Great name too: Twinkleclean.

I built a weapon trap for it in my dining hall just to improve the value, but it's tempting to put it where someone could actually walk into it...

No really impressive at all, but it was made by a 4 YEAR OLD!

Blacksmith. Posession. I figured I'd try and plane-pack it a bit. Silly sausage started out with a bar of copper. Can't have that. Gold it is.

Gold as basis, and in order of collection: marble block, -pig tail fibre cloth-, silver bar, gold bar, 4 black bronze bars, silver bar, 5 lead bars (with a pig iron bar in between but I forbade that.), gold bar, diorite block, start.

Everything went even better than expected:

Likot Paperfortunes, mentioned in the description is an adequate (rusty) stonecrafter who is a passing acquaintance of the smith.

edit: correction; wood, not stonecrafter. I wouldn't want to leave you thinking he is half-way useful.

Someone made a llama wool shoe earlier, now someone made an alpace wool shoe to match. And I got a bone door. Too awesome. It is decorated with more bone, some gems, banded with black bronze and menaces with spikes of steel. It's a proper door into the bowels of the earth.

edit:

and now a bone hatch cover. This is turning in one scary fort.

A greatsword named Severmastered.

Sadly it's made of alpaca bone so it's not viable for military use against armored opponents..  Still manages to get plenty of severs in the hands of my executioner though. [EXECUTION_SKILL:SWORD]
