I just have for personal taste and would be fun to get a use out of it.
I fully support the 'zombie apocalypse for the fun of it' movement, and wish to know where I can sign up.

Give it a few decades, soon VR will allow you to fight off a zombie apocalypse! Minus the pain, end of the world, and constant terror.

I'm raiding a hardware store while you all raid the grocery stores. Local ones stock gloves, kneepads, elbow pads, and aprons that are all chainmail inside of leather, for construction workers and carpenters. It leaves a bit to be desired still, but I have shin guards from soccer and arm guards from roller-blading.

You are all going to be the funniest looking survivors in the world.

If you're survivors, though, you don't need to look good. It's enough to be alive!

I'll be wearing combat boots, black cargo pants, an old BDU jacket, and combat gloves. Maybe a baklava as well. The number of guns I'll have might be somewhat funny, but I don't have much here at home.

Are cryogenics working yet? I want to freeze myself until they have the technology to make the ultimate zombies game.

You could freeze yourself (though it costs a massive amount of money),but scientists are reasonably sure that the process damages all the cells in your body beyond repair.

In the event of a zombpocalypse, I'm topping myself. There's no way I'd survive more than a few days in a low-lying city in a small, heavily populated country.

Then you do nothing in your death. At least try to take a few with you.

Yeh if your gonna die take a nuke with you at least.

On a random thought, I think I would be ok with cannabilism if there was no more food left. Disturbing, but i'm freaking hardcore survival. I don't plan on dieing.

What about the fact that most of the dead people would be infected, and that you'd need the aid that the still-living can provide?

robots.
robots and nukes.

The solution to any problem.

Failing that, try and mentally adjust the raw files of the universe so you can smelt meat and apples from nothing.
Find a smelter, repeat ad nauseum.
You could also do the same thing for smelting free weapons, but if you can alter the universal raw files using only your mind, then I think it's same to say you probably don't need them.
