Yea the title says it all. my wrestlers spar for all of 2 seconds then leave or go to sleep. wha? is that normal? they are peasants with dabbling wrestling so that may have something to do with it. help!

The recruits need to eat and to sleep as other dwarves and their primary needs have primary priority, so if someone wants to eat/sleep there's no way to stop it. Well, you can wall them off but this will lead to unhappy thoughts and some lag due to broken pathfinding.

Stop yelling at me baby, I really need a snack.

Hey, I'm back! Oh wait, I'm thirsty!

Did you miss me? Oh hey - I just got invited to a party!

Whew, finally I've returned. Oops, time to go on break.

Hi there! Still in the mood? Well say hello to my lit- OMG IS THAT A SOCK OUTSIDE

It was a sock! Isn't that great? The door's stuck open now though, there's a dead butterfly in the way. I'll be back in a minute, I need to go pick some mushrooms that just sprouted in our neighbor's yard. At 4 AM.

I'm back! Oh wait, I'm tired. Time for sleepytime!

*Is found the next morning with a hammer stuck in his chest*

Seriously, I would love to see dwarves who eat or drink, check to see if they're close enough to being thirsty or hungry to just do it too right then. Instead they run off to Egypt to grab a stone, then run back because they forgot to grab something to drink. Even if it involves waste of food and drink, it would be worth it.
