Small Gods isn't really a good jump-on point. It is good though.

I have never read or seen a Terry Pratchett book, and yet I hate him.  Just something about him...

Perhaps it's his amazing ability to command the minds of lesser beings?

Oh, a real author I hate.

Stephenie Meyer, the author of the abominable Twilight series.

If you're in highschool, you know about it.  Teenage girls everywhere are now giggling to each other about how they're "Addicted" to it, talking about how Edward Cullen is the best boyfriend ever and they wish he was real(He's a vampire and a psychopath, he tore the engine out of his girlfriend's car so she couldn't go to a party, and I think he tried to rape her or something, he also sparkles.), and I just want to BASH THEIR HEADS IN.

I've never read the books, but from what I've heard the writing is terrible.  It's supposed to be the girl's diary or something, and she writes like a teenage girl, constant mentions of Edward's eyes and hair, and what she cooked her dad for dinner, and what homework she did and ON AND ON AND OOONNNN!!!

Then it's for girls, not for boyz...
Don't be mad and don't think about it (that is a girl's book after all)
I prefer war stories  :D

Vampire romance stories... are not normal.

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

Sexy Industrial-Goth vampires suck.

Hell-spawned flesh-rending Nosferatu, however, r00l.

I hate authors like John Marsden (Tomorrow When the War Began) who write from the perspective of a pubescent girl, when at no point in their life have they ever been a pubescent girl and don't have a damned clue about how they would think or feel. Plus it's a bit creepy, the thought of grown-up men writing from the perspective of teenage girls. Especially when sex comes into it.

Yeah, I think John Marsden is a pervert.

He's a vampire and a psychopath, he tore the engine out of his girlfriend's car so she couldn't go to a party, and I think he tried to rape her or something, he also sparkles.

If this is true and they still think he's dreamy (side-note: do teenage girls still use that word? I haven't heard it for ages), obviously they've missed the point of the books.

In which case Steph needs to go back to writing school.

Then again, that sounds alot like Inuyasha, but with slightly less sparkle.

Is Soul Music a good TP book? I've seen a few cartoons (full series about witches and now I'm watching the Soul music). Cartoons seem to be funny. What about books?
