The last fort I was really proud of had a 100(or more)X20X3 hollowed out,smoothed and engraved(on all levels) dining hall, that was so long I couldnt designate it as a room. It was supported by several, several rows of 2X2 columns(also engraved). I had my noble/mayor rooms overseeing the thing, seperated by windows carved from their favorite gems. I also fit tombs with windows and a masterwork bridge crossing it.

Oh yeah, I had my kings chambers hanging from the roof, too. Unfortunatly, I got bored. You see, to maximize room value, I wanted only legendary+5 engravers doing engravings. So I smoothed out the map for a few years (5 dwarves, no other tasks) and that took out the fun after a while. :(

i made a nice tower of obsidian(the hard way.) which was fully engaved wich was really neat.

I'm still deliberating to carve the cathedral of Armok out inside the mountain or building it above ground.
I was planning on basing it off Lincoln Cathedral.
