Healing injured dwarves?
« on: June 16, 2008, 08:54:41 pm »

So, I've had my first injuries while training my dwarves. Wrestlers mostly. Oddly, they were all skilled or above when they got their first injuries. One has a yellow injury on his arm, and has been resting for a year. Likewise, a mechanic who got in the way of a berserk craftsdwarf has been as well, albeit his injury is red. How do I speed this up?

It's random, and there's not much you can do about it, I'm afraid.

There are three things I know about dwarves:
1. They've got beards. Even the women.
2. They're short. Especially the women.
3. They're Scottish.

Reds and yellows will always take an obscene amount of time to heal, and the dwarf will be pretty much useless the whole time. Neck, throat, eye, spine, brain injuries never heal.

No way to speed up the process that I know of :-\.

Does anyone know if tougher dwarves heal faster? Or do they just have a better chance of resisting pain?
