We have some potential here. I don't like the meme idea too much, I've learnt to hate memes, but I can bare with it. Nice modding, Talv! Looking forward to this!

Amazing Talvieno. Would you care to explain to me the
"The ability to become a Thread Necromancer during worldgen by learning the secrets.
Many new book title parts specifically oriented towards lulz." parts

And yes, we are ready for this. It will be amazing. Feel free to release the mod whenever you are ready and I shall get some embark sites up on the second page for you guys to choose. Amazing work. Good job.

Enh, I don't like the "arrow to the knee" meme much - it got a bit annoying about 6-8 months ago, but I've softened towards it some since.   I put it in largely just for laughs. It's not exactly game-changing, and can be very easily removed. Just replace the body_default.txt file, and you're done.

The idea was to base the mod on teh internets, so that's what I attempted to do. I may not have done the best job at it, and four/five hours of modding total can only go so far. :P But I think I did all right for the time I had.

1. Dwarves, Trolls, Haxxors and Humans can learn to be Thread Necromancers during worldgen. This works in pretty much the same way as Necromancers, except it happens more often.
2. When Thread Necromancers create books, they may be named something like "Bay12: Before and After" instead of "The Tower: Before and After".

And thanks for the compliments, guys. :)
If we don't have any further suggestions, I'll upload it right now. I'll send a link to you via PM when it's done, Apiks.

EDIT: OR, I could upload it to DFFD and just post the link here. Which would be preferred?

I won't change anything, it would be wasted work. I now understand the point of the mod, so it's great. Nice work.

I vote Embark Site 4.

I'm really excited!

I vote for embark site 1 since I like the rivers. Yes. That's my only reasoning.

Wait... You wanted us to play as Thread Necromancers? :-\ whoops...
Still, that wouldn't really have been possible with their "surprise" attacks... it would've destroyed the fort. Not a good thing to have happen.

I mean just customizing any that pop up in worldgen with our tags as nicknames talvi, not actually playing as them :P
