Okay, the long and the short of it is that I'm worrying that Imp may have been right that killing sofanthiel now will permanently obliterate the banishees (banshees?), and consequently, I'm not feeling quite so comfortable permanently awarding those votes to Secretdorf given how happy Secretdorf seemed to be about it.

Max: due to the events with Egan, if you need my backing for a last-minute play you have it. I still think sofanthiel is the best lynch choice but if you put your vote elsewhere I'll follow you.

By now, I'm really annoyed by Imp's suspicions which I do not think will be alleviated any time soon, so I just wanna say, Imp, you're free to wipe my role anytime you want. These damned votes are just not worth all the unnecessary suspicion I'm attracting. I will not be the slightest bit upset about it if it will put a stop to all the secretdorf-taking-over theories. My one-shot could be really useful in some situations, but we can probably win this game without it. Probably.

I also have a suspicion that Sofanthiel might be town, but I can't see a more promising alternative.

Can you explain this suspicion, and explain why you didn't discuss it earlier, and explain why you were firmly and clearly voting that person despite this suspicion?

Aha, thank you for the reminder.  I actually had to double check before I remembered when I posted the votecount.

Esteemed Sofanthiel - if you could vote, who would you be voting for and why?  I note the Esteemed notquitethere discussed that on D2 when that worthy had no vote.

My attention tends to follow others' attention, that's how I read in part.

I think Esteemed Sofanthiel is unconcerned about their loss of vote.  It isn't an issue, doesn't seem to be a surprise or concern.  I 'feel', calmly and kindly, that they don't care about their vote, and/or are glad it is where it is now.
