You carefully check the floor for any hidden trap door like the one in Shack(2). But you find nothing.Search the area around the two closest shacks for anything edible.
You get out of your shack very tired and scout the area, completely oblivious of how barren this place is, looking for something edible. You approach Shack(2) and find a small cooking mallet on the other side, it doesn't look very tasty. As chance would have it after kicking the dirt in frustration you find 2 dry figs. They are, of course, covered on dirt.Now im well rested and fed take some time to examine the statue thing then start properly reading the journal.
You crouch close to the porcelain statuette and see the depiction of a bearded man with a funny haircut. He looks humble and the painting work on the piece is average. The base scripture reads 'St. Francis'.
You sit down on the small bed and decide to read the whole journal. You have to slowly make out most of the narrative from the schedules and notes therein:The daily chores of the journal's owner revolved around learning to take care of the house, praying to her deity at night and bringing water from some sort of deposit located northward from here.
Eventually, she mentions not being able to go alone since the arrival of some
dangerous monsters of alien origin. These creatures turned this basic task so hazardous that she had to escort and be escorted by her adult neighbor. On later notes she also mentions bringing a goblin creature along and both of them working at a
basement wine-presser.As time goes by she gets distressed by some disastrous event. The local fauna (and at some point the flora) undergo a complete take over from the foreign monsters. She painfully registers her surrounding ecosystem get driven to eradication. The handwriting is impeccable! : D
Near the end she appears to be desperate to save the two last native lifeforms. The small black ants and some
wild dog.Although scared at first, she secretly meets with the dog to try to keep it well fed and smuggles some ants into her own quarters.
Her mother was not okay with this.

You notice the goblin is covered in some sort of old wine stain. He looks at you reticently until you ask him for something to eat. At that moment he smiles very broadly, revealing many sharp teeth and beckons you over the opposite room. There, he points to the metal cabinet after jumping over it.
When you grab the under-handle a led light flashes on your hand for a few seconds and digital text appears on the metal surface. It reads 'Human Hand detected'. You pull it open and a cold cloud embraces your face. Inside this freezer you find a plastic pitcher filled with lemonade, 3 tomato juice cartons and a plastic container with some big red berries inside, excellent. The goblin snatches a berry and cheerfully consumes it. He sits down satisfied and lets out a weird jingling cry.Search the third shack for anything useful.
You limp your way over to Shack(3) and find a mushroom resting on the porch. After plucking one of its caps the mushroom looks up at you with dot-like eyes. He doesn't seem to mind and after waving a tiny root at you and he takes off. The door of Shack(3) is wide open and it looks like there is people inside.
