So, how about this: What would you like to see me do here? I'm afraid I cannot compromise on the killing you aspect, but that's okay, because that's gonna happen if I'm alive. But, I'm willing to hear why you don't think it's NQT. I'd look it up, but I don't really have the energy to reread or think back that far, but I see that you are fundamentally misunderstanding me because we see two different games.
I'd like you to look at
my posts before asking for things restated, but sure, I'll humour you here.
It's not NQT because this looks a lot like town NQT and nothing like scum NQT. As scum, NQT prioritises ultra-quiet survival during the day, and would likely do so even more if they were solo. As town, NQT crawls over small details rather than making leaps of the imagination, leading to tedious townfights, follows a set plan D1 in an attempt to develop their gameplay, and sticks their neck out when they don't agree with something. The only weird thing is the vote hopping around, but tbh, that's not a huge part of my read either way.
Do you think I am soloscum or teamscum? Does it matter in terms of how this game is played?
At a guess, solo. Unlike NQT and apparently Toony (?), I find the masons thing not in any way interesting. The only bit of the ridiculous-claims-D1 that I'm remotely interested in is the hot-dog selling part, I think that might be true.
It doesn't hugely matter. FoU is weird enough to include multiple players at the start of a cult, or even a cult-ally (cally?), so any of these are possible. Your objectives are largely the same either way.
What, exactly, bothers you about Jim, and, to a lesser extent, Toaster? What bothers you about Max?
Toaster: Ok, a bunch of strong players and students of character have told me this is just Toaster's meta, and I see no reason for anyone to mislead me there. On the other hand: his second post was activelurking, he exaggerated a mild case into a "slip", and the most of his other posts are basically chitchat or defending himself. I would be in favour of a Toaster elim, but I don't think I'm going to get it.
It's mostly been fluff and reasonable but quite mild analysis/readslists. I can usually read scum!Jim because his powerwolf play is extremely obvious when you consider the rationale behind powerwolfing and Jim's specific scum philosophy, but the last game means people would actually be on the lookout for this. While town!Jim can be very slow and reasonable, I don't actually see someone really looking hard for the right elimination, he's busier just laughing at weaker players. Subject to change if he actually produces a case or a strong opinion or something.
To expand on this, I think national Jimnosis awareness week means he can't powerwolf as normal, but he's still being somewhat insulting and devaluing, and not trying a sufficient amount to advance town. Cult-leader-self-preservation + scum!Jim + JimnosisAwareness gets us this kind of weird calm but dismissive shitposting Jim. It's a bit tenuous, I know.
Null
Max: hasn't been massively helpful, has been defending people. If anything, I'd say slight town lean, but I can't really read them. Expecting something more useful than just putting a vote on KW today.
Have you considered the possible reasons Max and I have claimed as we have? Do you think there is a reason?
Some of it is WIFOM for the cult, at least in theory. The masons thing could be a projective device, or something about conversion targets. Or just to preemptively screw over cult members claiming mason tomorrow, which could be smart, but honestly claiming masons D2 in this game likely gets you eliminated anyhow.
It doesn't really matter, because nobody believes your claim, you know? It's just a bunch more useless space in the thread. Just like this whole fucking post I'm making right now.
Feel free to respond to my answers, but only with marks out of 10, I'm too bored of all this to read letters.
