How many rings fit on my thumb, left hand?

Okay, is there any way to switch where your character equips rings? I had 3 rings equiped before I realized they were all on the same thumb.

(Also for earrings?)

When you fill up your thumb, they'll start going on another finger.

This should be fixed eventually, but I dunno how high on the list it is.
