I am pretty certain I got a bloodsucker in my fort (a vampire) as I got a dwarf that died from getting all of blood drained. But how do I find which one it is?

I'd assume the same way you can find them in the non-steam version. Check the dwarves you suspect might be the vampire, look at their relations, skills and groups. Lots of groups or being really old is usually a good indicator.

How’s that supposed to work when the bloodsucker was cursed only 5 years ago?

I might be a little late on this but I did some minor -science- and:

1. most of the time they have very green/grey face sprites
2. their kill list tab says "Zero kill"
3. very often they are "terrified of seeing X die", X being their last victim
4. they have unsatisfied needs to drink and eat despite your tavern being fully stocked and all the rest of your dwarves are euphoric from inebriation except this one

Additionally if they are using a false name then editing their name will often reveal the real one. On a migrant that's almost a sure sign, wall them in an office and see if they get hungry.

Mine was easy to find though, pale blue skin, aged past the lifespan of a dwarf.
