You forgot about Storm Cell.

Sadly, Storm Cell was already in effect when that monster was summoned, so it's max hp was reduced by 4 at the beginning of dgr's turn.

But, storm cell's max health reduction only lasts for one turn/an instant. Basically, it wears off, if you tanked the initial damage you're fine.

No, it reduces max health. There isn't a time limit on it. It doesn't say 'reduce all face-up car's Hearts by 4 until the end of the turn'. It just says it reduces the max hearts of all face-up cards by 4.

Notably, if you've already lost the health you aren't going to lose more. That isn't the case here.

Okay, so this is how it all went down. Let me know if I am mistaken:

1. Card Cancer was played on Pacifist Gunslinger Waifu, which was destroyed. This is important.
2. Storm Cell was played by dgr11897.
3. The Mountain of Bodies was played by Shadowclaw777. At this point the Mountain of Bodies had 12 Hearts. The effect of 1 Card Cancer is in effect.
4. The previously played Storm Cell triggers, reducing The Mountain of Bodies to 8 Hearts. This is the first hit that the Mountain actually takes.
5. A Card Cancer was directly played on The Mountain of Bodies.
6. dgr's turn ends, and The Mountain of Bodies loses 2 Hearts from the two Card Cancers. It now has 6 Hearts.
7. Unintentional Bombardment is played, and the Mountain of Bodies loses 4 Hearts. It only has 2 hearts left at this point.
8. Meteor Shower is played, dealing 3 damage to the Mountain of Bodies, which destroys it. (And also, that's a Star for dgr!)

So yeah. I called the game too early. My bad.

Even after your draw dgr? Pacifist Gunslinger can't kill cards or you if it would be lethal. It's just a wall. Don't give up yet!
