++Since business takes time and I plan to restock and have my crew rest if allowed, I am happy to put in a request to deploy my own guard planetside, much how my shipboard Security Chief has requested. The first trade meeting can dispense with the formalities for the sake of expediency, but I'd appreciate if there was a way to hasten the request's processing.++
That piqued his interest further. ++What guests does the fortress host aside from us?++
And I realize I might've forgotten to ask for it but can we get a scan of the planet and neighboring details and the details that follow?
If an Active Augury test happens to be necessary, let's have an Aid the Machine Spirit action (+5 to the ship’s Manoeuvrability or Detection for the remainder of the turn, plus an additional +5 for each extra 2 DoS) executed by the one with the highest Tech-Use (likely the crew) to make our augury test better in case it succeeds.
And since Active Augury is a Scrutiny+Detection Test we can use the highest of the Crew Rating or the players' stats, assuming any of them have Scrutiny which I doubt.
Formula would be 30 (assuming Crew Rating's Scrutiny) +23 (Ship's Detection) +x (bonus from AtMS) +10 (from Exceptional Leader).
++We are currently under rationing related to the Fall of Cadia destroying previously existing supply lines. The supplies allocated for your ship had assumed you where a much smaller merchant ship. You will have to discuss shore leave with the Quartermaster. As you are a ranking noble in the Imperium you are likely to receive an audience with the Governor-General if you make such a request. He is the only one currently authorized to bypass procedure that would allow you to act more freely.++
Though as Rogue Trader you are likely able to bypass the red tape by simply not complying in the understanding that anyone under the Governor-General isn't authorized to act against you in any way in turn.
++You are authorized to send one lander to LZ 223 for resupply and shore leave. There are currently no restrictions to airspace or landing outside of the fortress if you wish to receive supplies from the outlying towns and villages.
We currently have visitors from two Rogue Trader houses and their allies. The Fall of Cadia has unfortunately meant we have had few guests.++
Rook's Crown is the only planet orbiting its sun, like it was brought from outside the solar system. It has a single moon that looks like a flawless pearl with no craters blemishing the surface (scanners suggest this is likely due to internal volcanic activity). There are signs of life all over the planet. There are small energy signatures in the upper atmosphere suggesting satellites surrounding the planet, but no sign of orbital defense platforms or ships larger than fighter/bombers.
There isn't much else to report if I don't know what your scanners are looking for.
Your kind tend to avoid the warp whenever possible. You probably discovered why during the last trip.
Depends, it might be worth having a route directly between a corsair station and an infested Virgin World.
How close is the nearest Webway entry point to here? (IE, could I roll my webway lore skill to know if this route would be useful to the Corsairs?)
You apparently have no idea where the nearest Webway entry point is. Still since it was once a Maiden World it is almost certainly closely connected with the Webway, so long as the old path hasn't collapsed over the centuries.
