In South Egypt and Northwestern Mesopotamia, splendid Temples were finished and in distant South Nubia, a luxurious Tomb was built for the local ruler.

Northwestern Egypt became prime quarry for both Granite and Sandstone used by Egyptians. Diving for Pearls became major industry in Central Levant. Magnificent specimens of Opals and Lapis Lazuli were dug out by Persians in Central Afghanistan. In Central Mesopotamia, Barley and Cattle became staple foodstuffs raised locally. And Elephants, prized by Nubians, were now herded in both Southwestern Egypt and Southeastern Nubia.

Kingdom of Egypt

For possibly the first time, the Sun-King is facing something of a manpower shortage. There are always more resources to gather, yet not enough free hands to retrieve them, and so some... optimization is in order. In North Egypt, Fish is replaced with Cattle, and in South East Egypt Miners abandoned veins if Malachite in favour of Turquoise.

Finally, a Temple to the great Sun God is built in Northwest Egypt, supported by the entire kingdom.

Lydia

Greetings King of the Mesopotamians while we have no interest in trading anything at this time we also have no intentions of conquering Western Mesopotamia either all we ask is that you leave Western Armenia to us and I see no reason cant have further cooperation in the future.

Anyway we finally begin colonizing Western Armenia and in NE Levant we discover Barely and Limestone

The King of Mesopotamia frowns, concern beginning to show on his face.

The Persians develop Silver in the mountains of Central Afghanistan, proud of their efforts. Work continues on the colony in South Afghanistan and on the project in South East Parthia, using the resources from their whole kingdom.

In Mesopotamia, granite and opals are dug out of the mountains of Central Armenia, colonists are sent to settle Northeast Arabia, and a tomb is built in Eastern Armenia using the full resources of the empire and it’s trade with foreign nations.

Nubia

The emperor of Nubia orders a second tomb to be built along the coast in SE Nubia, for his wife. Construction is supported from all provinces and by all trade.

While at it, workers in SE Nubia start digging up gold.
In SW Egypt some elephant trainers switch jobs, since the Elephant market is getting oversaturated. They become shepherds and start breeding Sheep.

PS: a question to the game master.
Is it allowed to build multiple monuments of the same type on the same tile?
