You pin the cannon! Which is what your tech priest also just did, so now it is double pinned I guess.

The pinned kannon finishes its half-action reload! Dismount kannon will be able to fire next turn.

Armor-side kannons both open fire on the advancing APCs. One manages to jam thanks to Orkish engineering. The other manages to miss completely thanks to Orkish aim. Orks would be easy opponents if they couldn't eat lead for breakfast wouldn't they?

Both dismounted Orks charge forward under squiglight toward the psyker and his companion. Both Tankhammers wait patiently for the tanks to get into hammering range.

You now have a full aim! Which neatly offs the penalties you have for being pinned. Because you are really bad at being unpinned.

They narrowly manage to avoid having a TPK, so you move in their general direction weaving past trees and trampling over smaller non-tree plants. You crash through a giant mushroom that disappointingly doesn't make your Chimera into a giant Chimera.

Both Allied Chimera continue the Imperial tradition of charging toward the enemy while firing wildly and shouting "FOR THE EMPRAAH!", showing their tactical superiority to the Orks.

Seeing the Orks rush your position, you decide to shoot the Ork minding its own business behind full cover. You actually manage to hit! And to demonstrate the power of cover! Since the fortress wall the Ork is ducking behind eats the shot without damaging the Ork. This is why tactical positioning is important!

The Fortress only really has the cover equivalent of a tree, but since Orks are so tough it is just kinda...impossible to actually harm them with a lasgun if they're behind cover 8 and you hit that cover. One more reason to be thankful the Orks have poor aim and are too stupid to take advantage of that fact.

But you fail to gain the power of the Warp. Don't let that distract from the fact you're the first one to hit something this fight without having to use the blast rules!
