Do we really need to make that stuff visible, I feel that's something that can wait for when we're safe.

I’m assuming it has to be visible for us to disintegrate it…

I thought we just made some random furniture invisible, why would we need to disintegrate it when there are hostile people around.

Said “random furniture” is blocking the door.

We were looking at those guys out a window couldn't we disintegrate them through that?

Also I feel we should test the disintegration beam before we try it on the enemy, so we don't accidentally make them invisible.

I say we first reverse the invisibility beam (by playing the first disintegration GIF backwards in our head, then make the door and the stuff blocking the door visible again, then use the second disintegration GIF to create a real disintegration beam, then test that on the stuff we just made visible again.

If you think that's the best course of action then let's do that.

Alternatively, just make the enemies' heads invisible, so they won't be able to see anything.

But, would that really make them unable to see?

Yes. If their heads are invisible, the light must (by definition) be passing through their heads (and eyes) without interacting with anything on the way.

But this world is a magical place, what if the magic allows them to continue to see?

Then we know we can safely become invisible to escape them, so we do that.

We should probably test it on someone that isn't us first just to be safe.

that is what we are doing, apparently.

Will this help you get the disintegration right?

Edit:  WRT invisibility, are you sure you can reverse it when you need to?  I’m not sure if you and your friends want to be invisible for the rest of your lives…

That would probably let me collapse buildings. Which I'm in and they're not.

I have no clue if I can reverse it or not. It was supposed to destroy them. It doesn't feel like it is permanent, but that is just me speculating from how much magic I used. It could turn back any second now.

For the record, it has been a handfull of seconds and I'm still getting shot at.
