Hmm, that's what it was meant to combat quite precisely. It's an extra Offensive option.

May even lead to multiple teams taken out.

Can't shoot through walls. Collides with the first thing it hits, and unowned walls are indestructible.

Thatīs a rule change. What the rules currently say is something else:

No mention of non-enemy walls.

I'm okay with this rule change, provided that we revert to the situation as it was before I started shooting your units:

This isn't a rule change, it's a clarification. (There was 0 chance my intention was for bullets to stop at everything else and go through walls. Also makes firebats redundant and inferior..)


Current newest turn is my last one.


Edit: I don't mean this in a mean way, but this casual game requires some basic inference, in order to keep light wording in the rules. What was your head canon for why this was allowed?

(armor-piercing pistol rounds, that's some scary stuff, man!)

Writing unambiguous rules is difficult, easy to overlook some detail that turns out to be important. But unfortunately you canīt rely on people just understanding your intentions.

Flamebats shoot straight through walls and Engineers can kill a unit behind a wall too, so I saw no reason to assume that soldiers would not. That's how the rule was written and it looked like a feature to me, not a loophole.

In my opinion it is the other way around. Firebats can take down multiple enemy units and walls and most importantly, they can disown doors from a distance, again ignoring walls.

But anyway, could you please edit the rules to clarify how this works then? And how about walls of your own color, can soldiers shoot through those?

No. They cannot. (It destroys them.) It can be inferred that since it "Hits your units and allies.", your walls are not an exception.
