Well that's why I want to be the Webadict. It's pretty implied that the Webadict will grant
The Privilege. Thus, I will be able to write it into reality that I am a catgirl, nya.
And thus achieve being catgirl Webadict.
Purrfection.
FallacyofUrist:
Which is to say trading away all your votes to ask questions may get good answers, but it would completely remove your ability to have an impact on the rest of the game - unless of course you end up as Webadict. You would be a Stump - refusing you is a kindness.
Why is Stump capitalized here?
It's a role in the Mafiascum wiki.
stuff
Yeah, figures. No breaking the game this early.
Okay, time to take things a little more seriously, nya.
We are Choosing a Webadict. The problem involved in that is that Webadict is a role - in the meta sense, not necessarily an in-game sense - not necessarily an alignment either.
Webadict could be pro-Town. Webadict could be anti-Town. Webadict could be third party.
The only thing we can reasonably assume at this point is that Webadict will be entwined with the game's mechanics.
Personally, my bet is that Webadict will be pro-town and we will need to work with them to break or beat the game, but there's no real way to prove that, and I could be wrong.
I would like to postulate that
if Webadict is anti-town, a more experienced player becoming a Webadict is a bad thing. I would be quite terrified of a ToonyMan Webadict, for example. Anyone with the experience to play the town like a fiddle will be terrifying with whatever capabilities Webadict grants.
However,
if Webadict is pro-town, a more experienced player becoming a Webadict is a good thing. For similar reasons.
A more experienced player will be better able to navigate the diplomatic aspects of the Webadict and the power aspects of the Webadict - but we cannot predict our alignments in advance.
If we are still playing
mafia, then there will be an uniformed majority and an uniformed minority.
Therefore.
We cannot predict what alignments we will be, but as town an experienced Webadict is a bad thing and as mafia an experienced Webadict is a good thing - or vice versa. We cannot predict how Webadict will be aligned, and someone killed our only source of clues (thanks).
Therefore, the optimum move is to elect a Webadict with a
middling amount of experience, which will mitigate the harm if they turn out to be scum and increase their effectiveness if they turn out to be town.
With that in mind, I am only willing to vote for myself or TolyK.
Wait. Fuck. No.
Unvote x12. We're
not choosing a Webadict. It's a trap.
